Dutch Drone Centre
Dutch Drone centre Aviolanda (DDC) is a certified test, evaluation and demonstration centre for drones, with access to the controlled airspace of Woensdrecht Air Base. Aimed at partners in both the public and private sectors, it supports the development of new drone technology and its applications. DDC also provides drone education and training for educators, students and business clients.
RPAS-Services
Using Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems, RPAS Services provides various services such as testing new technology and drones, inspecting areas and objects, and providing aerial photography and video. The company, with a European permit to operate, does this with registered drones and authorized drone pilots for clients in both the public and private sectors and for defense.
uAvionix Europe
European supplier of certified products for the drone and aviation industry, developed and manufactured by US company uAvionix. Examples from the range include aviation certified Command and Control (C2) systems, transponders, Detect and Avoid systems and ground infrastructure for the integration of crewed and uncrewed aviation. The goal of the products is to improve accessibility, safety and efficiency to and within airspace.
UAV+
UAV+ is a government-approved training institute that develops drone training courses and conducts exams (Drone Pilot A1/A3). The company was founded by Francois Coppens, who has a long experience as a technology teacher in public education. It was there that he developed the subject of drone technology. He has since trained over 300 teachers in this subject. He also offers drone lessons for schoolchildren to get them excited about obtaining a recognized drone license. That too is possible at UAV+.
Orange Aerospace
Orange Aerospace creates prototypes and “one-off” aircraft, both manned and unmanned. The company does this with a team of specialists in engineering, production, electronics and operations from its headquarters at Breda International Airport. Thanks to its excellent testing facilities, a branch office has been opened at the Dutch Drone Center.
Drones4
Drones4 develops and supplies drones for both companies and schools. A key part of its product range is ready-to-use drone flight kits for primary and secondary schools: educational drones with accompanying teaching materials.
